Muhammad Ishaq has been proudly involved in the Conservative movement since 2006, dedicating nearly two decades to advancing principles of responsible government, strong families, and economic opportunity. Throughout his political journey with the Conservative Party of Canada , he has served in several key roles, including Community Consultant alongside the Honourable Jason Kenney, Ethnic Outreach Advisor to former Party Leader the Honourable Andrew Scheer, and National Outreach Coordinator during the leadership campaign of the Honourable Pierre Poilievre.

As Candidate of Record in the 45th General Election, Muhammad gained firsthand experience building strong volunteer teams, raising resources, and engaging diverse communities across the Greater Toronto Area. That campaign strengthened his belief that meaningful change begins at the grassroots level by listening to residents and standing up for their concerns.

Muhammad and his wife have always called Mississauga home, where they are raising their four children. In Mississauga East–Cooksville , where the median household income is approximately $72,000 and the average age is in the early 40s, families are working hard to build stable futures. Yet many residents especially newcomers and young families are feeling squeezed by rising rent, mortgage rates, and everyday expenses.

As a parent, Muhammad understands these pressures personally. His lived experience fuels his commitment to fight for safer streets, responsible economic policies, and greater opportunity for the next generation.
